Hello, it’s Madeleine again!
I have officially finished my ACL research with Dr. Young and am passing the project on to Micaela, Megan G., and Megan W.! I was able to add even more participants to the project this past fall, bringing the total number of participants to 110. The majority of the participants were non-injured participants. While I did not find any significance in my data for right knee or right hip flexion angles, there are patterns present that I’m sure will become more clear with additional data provided by continued Team ACL research and growth to the project. I’ve spent the past few months perfecting my paper. At the beginning of April, Dr. Young and I agreed that it was ready to send to my committee for them to read and analyze. I’ve also been working on my poster and oral presentations. I was hoping to get a chance to present my research at our local Tri-Beta conference, but it was unfortunately canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the end of February I presented my research during Belles Biology Day. This was a great experience and I am grateful to Dr. Young for her guidance on my presentations. Being able to present something that I had worked on for so long to my department, friends, and family was such a rewarding experience. Comments are closed.
